Matt brings 4 decades of experience across live and studio sound. From international tours to
studio production, his technical skill, creative flair and calm, professional manner make him a
go-to collaborator on complex projects.

Crafting for an online, headphone-wearing audience in 2023, Syndicate Sound were ahead of their time. From the skin-prickling presence of Ray’s ghost and the series final flashback scene, to the original score that pulled audiences deeper into the story than we ever expected, their work was masterful. Keeping a focus on Behind the Seams’ audience, they are efficient and innovative. Just as importantly, the team is deeply collaborative. We are so looking forward to the next one!
Davi was set in a fictional fantasy world and Syndicate Sound were instrumental in bringing that world to life. They created soundscapes of fictional animals and creatures that changed as the world went from day into night. They brought to life the violence of every fight scene as well as the quiet gentleness of the more emotional drama driven scenes. Not only are they a talented sound designers and composers they are lovely people to work with who are extremely generous with their time."
Working with Syndicate Sound on Behind the Seams was truly one of the highlights of the project. Their collaborative spirit, energy and talent contributed an enormous amount to the piece. A preliminary conversation about musical inspirations evolved into a rich, playful original score, and they demonstrated time and again how the subtlest shift of a cue can tie a scene together or radically shift the tone.
